Varun Dhawan has a loyal fan following among the kids. On Tuesday, Varun spent time with special kids at a cancer awareness event held at Mumbai's CST station.

Varun Dhawan attended the event organized by an NGO called Access Life India that works for kids who are undergoing cancer treatment and aid them with food, clothing and other things. Varun spent some quality time with the cancer patient kids and shared some photos with them saying, "Had the honour of meeting young cancer survivors. They are the true champions who beat the disease and did all this at a very young age. Thank u @accesslifeindia #amrutafadnavis #dishoomtocancer."

Besides Varun Dhawan, Amruta Fadnavis, Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis' wife was also present at the event.

On the work front, Varun Dhawan is shooting for his next film Badrinath Ki Dulhania alongside Alia Bhatt which is slated to release on March 10, 2017.
