While fans in India were thrilled to see Priyanka Chopra Jonas donning the avatar of Nadia and performing sleek action on the small screen, they will get to witness Samantha Ruth Prabhu in a similar avatar in Citadel: Honey Bunny. The excitement for the Indian version of the series is quite palpable as it also marks her first collaboration with Varun Dhawan. Meanwhile, adding to the anticipation, the makers hosted a special screening of Citadel spin-off versions which are in the pipeline for release, namely, Diana along with Honey Bunny.
It was attended by the team of the original Citadel, that is the American version, including actress Priyanka Chopra Jonas. The latter not only attended the screening of these web-shows but she was also seen bonding with the actresses Samantha Ruth Prabhu and Matilda De Anglis. In fact, several inside photos from the screening have made it to social media wherein the actresses are seen posing for shutterbugs and they also clicked photos with several other members from the team. Interestingly, earlier, Samantha Ruth Prabhu also attended the screening of Citadel which was held in the US.

Speaking of the show, while Priyanka Chopra Jonas has kicked off the shoot of second season of the show which also stars Richard Madden in lead roles, the first season of the Indian version is expected to premiere in the country post Diwali. The spin-off series Citadel: Honey Bunny will also feature Kay Kay Menon, Saqib Saleem, Sikander Kher, among others along with Varun Dhawan and Samantha Ruth Prabhu as the leads. The show, produced by Russo brothers, will premiere on November 7, 2024.
