The BMC has approved the request to cut down 2700 trees of the Aarey forest for metro car shed and protests have been taking place all around the colony. A lot of celebrities stood in support of the protests and Shraddha Kapoor even joined the civilians to do her bit. A similar situation is taking place in Gurgaon as well. Manoj Bajpayee took to their Twitter to come out in support of the Global Climate strike and urged people to walk out of their homes and workplaces to join the protest.
