Dilip Joshi has been entertaining us as Jethalal for the past 12 years in Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah. His role has become iconic and with the new episodes airing from yesterday, the fans were super excited to watch the new episodes. Speaking to a leading daily, Dilip Joshi spoke about adapting to the new circumstances of shooting and how it feels surreal to be shooting in these conditions.

He says that the first two days after coming back on sets felt like they were shooting in a hospital with the strong smell of sanitisers all over the place. Since they have a huge cast, not all of them could shoot at the same time and they have a big technical team as well. With a massive crew, they have to make sure that everyone is safe and is adapting well since their shooting process has changed entirely. Thankfully, they have enough space on sets to ensure social distancing and their producer, Asit Modi has ensured sanitizing stations after every few meters.
