Drishyam 2: Ajay Devgn drops Tabu’s first look from the film as she plays a mother determined to attain justice

Ajay Devgn took to social media to drop the first look of Tabu from Drishyam 2. The film is set to release theatrically on November 18, 2022.

Drishyam 2 starring Ajay Devgn, Shriya Saran, Tabu, and Akshaye Khanna is all geared up for its release. The makers have a long promotional plan for the sequel. They began with a series of posters and a special look on Drishyam Day, which was on October 2. Now, Ajay has taken to social media to drop the first look of Tabu.

Sharing the first look poster of Tabu, who seems fierce, she captioned the post as, “Kaha tha na, woh itni jaldi humara peecha nahi chodne wale...woh fir aayenge. #Drishyam2 Case Reopens On 18th November 2022.” While the details of her role is kept under wraps, the actress will be playing the role of a mother who is back to attain justice.

As per an earlier report by Bollywood Hungama, a source revealed, “Director Abhishek Pathak and the producers of Drishyam 2 have decided that they’ll kick start the promotional campaign of the film from October 2. The date held a special significance in the first part due to which they felt that starting their campaign on this date is apt. Moreover, things fell into place for them as Drishyam 2 is scheduled to be released on November 18, that is, 45 days after October 2. Hence, everyone in the team unanimously agreed to begin the film’s promotional journey on the national holiday.”

Meanwhile, Drishyam 2 will also feature the cast of the first film including Tabu, Shriya Saran, and Ishita Dutta amongst others. Drishyam 2 begins seven years after the events in the first film and tests Vijay’s resolve to protect his family for whom he would cross any limits. This movie aims to provide justice to the ‘crime-thriller’ genre in every way possible.

Viacom18 Studios Presents Gulshan Kumar, T-Series and Panorama Studios present, Drishyam 2 produced by Bhushan Kumar, Kumar Mangat Pathak, Abhishek Pathak, and Krishan Kumar. The original score and music are by Rockstar DSP (Devi Sri Prasad). Directed by Abhishek Pathak, Drishyam 2 is set to release theatrically on November 18, 2022.
