After the failure of Dhaakad, Kangana Ranaut has now shifted her attention to her forthcoming projects, including Emergency. The film will feature the actress in yet another role of a politician and is inspired from real life incidents.

While in Thalaivi, she played the role of actress-former CM of Tamil Nadu, Jayalalitha, in the forthcoming film Emergency, she will be seen as former Prime Minister of India, Indira Gandhi. In a recent post shared by her on social media, we can see that Kangana has already started preparing for it and she will be taking the help of David Malinowaski.
In order to create her look as Indira Gandhi, Kangana Ranaut will be seeking the help of the prosthetics expert. In a recent series of photos shared by the actress on Instagram, we can see her speaking to Academy award winner David Malinowaski in order to understand the process of using prosthetics. Furthermore, we can also see her giving it a try in one of the photos shared.
Interestingly, in a post shared by the actress about a year ago, she had mentioned that she is giving her body measurements for doing the prosthetics of the film. In the said post, we saw a professional taking her face scans to get the look right. The actress too had mentioned that her face and body scans were required to give her the perfect look of the former Prime Minister.

Directed by Kangana Ranaut, Emergency is also expected to feature Operation Blue Star as a part of its storyline. Besides this, she will also be seen in the film Tejas in which she plays the role of an air force officer.
