EXCLUSIVE: “An actress who really matches my sense of humor is Genelia,” says Plan A Plan B actor Riteish Deshmukh

In an exclusive conversation with Bollywood Hungama, Riteish Deshmukh said that his wife Genelia Deshmukh matches his level of sense of humor.

Riteish Deshmukh has a new Netflix romantic-comedy film Plan A Plan B which co-stars Tamannaah Bhatia. The film follows a matchmaker (Tamannaah Bhatia) who believes marriage is for everyone except herself, and a successful divorce lawyer (Riteish Deshmukh) with a secret, who cross paths, and explores if opposites coexist or attract.

In an exclusive segment with Bollywood Hungama, the 43-year-old actor answered some fun and candid rapid-fire questions. When asked which actress would it be who would match the level of his sense of humor the best, he replied, “I think an actress who really matches my sense of humor is Genelia [Deshmukh].”

“She’s funny and she’s quirky and she says certain things that she doesn’t know what she’s said and that makes it even more funny,” he added. “And when I’m like ‘Are you serious you said this? What does it mean?’ She’s like ‘Oh no-no, I didn’t mean that.’”
