EXCLUSIVE: Ananya Panday on her fashion mantra: “Keep your heels, head, and standards high”

The actress has established herself in the fashion world by rocking street style as well as diva looks. Debuted by actor Ananya Panday, the luxe designs comprising this exclusive new capsule epitomise elegant yet extravagant style. Bollywood Hungama chatted with the effervescent and articulate Ananya about her personal style and her collaboration with brand Jimmy Choo.

We asked Ananya about her personal style and in an interview with Bollywood Hungama, she responded saying, “I define my style as super chill & classic.” The diva surely has her priorities set when it comes to her personal style. While we were talking about the same thing, we asked her what fashion meant to her. “Fashion for me is all about having fun and a way of expressing myself how I am feeling on a particular day,” she said and we could not agree more.

Although fashion trends come and go, certain iconic people endure because of their timeless style and influence on the fashion industry across all eras. They truly are icons and Ananya revealed to us when we were talking about the same thing that “Zendaya's styles are my favourite. It's relaxed yet classic.”

With her style, Ananya Panday appears to be testing the waters. The actor, whose fashion sense mirrors her vivacious and joyful demeanour, has been stirring things up, but do you know the fashion advice she received that led to her being so daring? When asked about it, she answered, “Never say never - try everything before you reject it because you never know what may end up working on you”

While fashion trends come and go, there are some wardrobe staples that never go out of style. When we questioned about Ananya's opinion on the matter, she responded, “A nice pair of Jimmy Choo heels from the new SHAAN Capsule Collection, A little black dress and a white top that fits like a dream.”

Ananya addressed our question on her association with Jimmy Choo, “My collaboration with Jimmy Choo for their new SHAAN Capsule Collection stands for all things glamour and colour and that’s what drew me to it. I have always admired how they create such fabulous glamorous heels that are still so comfortable to wear. Accessorising with them can glam up any look.”

Continuing the same she added, “I love how they have played with colour for this India-exclusive collection, ranging from gold, red to pink and how their select iconic styles are embellished with crystals.” She also revealed how she associates herself with brand saying, “I truly believe that Jimmy Choo's new SHAAN Capsule Collection stands for a facet of my personality in which I love dressing up and playing around with colours and silhouettes when it comes to fashion”

You must periodically switch up your wardrobe in addition to avoiding wearing the same clothing too frequently if you want to stay contemporary. Obviously, it would be challenging for the average individual to adhere to this guideline, but superstars are different. They can pick from a variety of outfits, shoes, and accessories, but even they have some items they genuinely adore. Ananya also shared with us her favourite clothing items. She said, “My new Azia heels from Jimmy Choo's new SHAAN Capsule Collection, My beanies, baseball caps and My new everyday bag”

Comfort gear is becoming more popular. Initially, pyjamas would have ruled the scene; however, they have since made way for crop tops and baggy trousers. Ananya also shared her opinion on her relaxed style saying, “Comfort is what defines my style and what makes me feel the most at ease. If I’m not happy or comfortable in what I’m wearing, it’ll always reflect on my face and how I conduct myself, so that’s always a priority - when I’m off duty, I like to keep things easy so mainly in shorts, track pants or my work out clothes or my PJs all-day”

Additionally, we asked Ananya what she wanted her wardrobe to say about her at the end of the day, to which she replied, “I want it to reflect how I’ve always chosen to be myself, taken risks and had fun not taking it too seriously”

Bollywood is beloved by everybody for its music and dancing styles as well as for the chic actresses who seem to be dressing more and more stylishly with each passing day. Ananya's fashion mantra was the last question we asked her before wrapping off the conversation. She said, “Keep your heels, head, and standards high,” and we totally agree to that.
