Ayushmann Khurrana is back on the big screen. Dream Girl 2 has given him the biggest opening of his career at the box office. The film collected Rs. 67 crores in the domestic market in the first week of its release. The actor is quite elated about it. He admits that box office success is definitely superior.

Speaking to Bollywood Hungama post the release of the film, he said, “Nothing is sweeter than box-office success. Since childhood, I have watched cinema on the big screen, the feeling was always that nothing is bigger than box office success. Of course, longevity works well for credible films. Your credible films also age well. You can keep watching it. Andhadhun, Article 15, 20 years down the line will still be appreciated. But, commercial films are there for the audience and for the public who leave the logic behind at home to have fun.”

The actor said that as long as a movie like Dream Girl 2 works, he can go ahead and have the courage to work on movies like Andhadhun, Article 15 and An Action Hero.

Meanwhile, on the work front, Ayushmann Khurrana will reportedly next star in Sourav Ganguly's biopic.
