One of the biggest actors in the Indian film industry, Akshay Kumar has a keen eye for films, but did you know he also has a keen ear for music? Well, an interesting revelation was made by producer and owner of T-Series, Bhushan Kumar! The latter, who has worked with Akshay in many films, including the prequel Bhool Bhulaiyaa in 2007, revealed that the Prithviraj actor is a ‘pandara’ box of songs in an exclusive interview with Bollywood Hungama.
During an interview with the team of Good News way back in 2019, Diljit Dosanjh had referred to Akshay Kumar as mini T-Series. The owner of T-Series, Bhushan Kumar not only agreed that Akshay is truly a music collector but also added that there are times when he has asked the actor if he can buy songs from his collection. In this exclusive interview with Bollywood Hungama, Bhushan Kumar said, “He (Akshay Kumar) is very passionate about music. He keeps calling for songs from different music composers, singers, or lyricists. Some of them keep sending just a song or just the lyrics. He has a lot of knowledge regarding music and because of that he has a stock of songs and music. Even now, as I am about to start a film with him, he keeps telling me that he will make me listen to some of the songs from his collection. The best part is you do find songs, and superhit ones. He has a ‘pandara’ box of about 400-500 different songs. I once asked him if I could buy some songs from his collection, that’s how huge it is."
