As the movie Jawan continues its meteoric rise toward becoming one of the biggest Hindi films of the year, the cast is revelling in the immense success they have achieved. For Lehar Khan, who portrays the character Kalki in the film, this triumph holds even greater significance, as she previously tasted success in Ayan Mukerji's Brahmastra. In a recent interview, Lehar shared a heartwarming anecdote about her encounter with the legendary Amitabh Bachchan during her time on the Brahmastra set.

In an exclusive interview with Bollywood Hungama, Lehar recounted, “It’s every actor’s dream to meet and touch Amitabh Bachchan’s feet and get into it (the film industry). That was the first thing I did too but he told me, ‘Nahi nahi. Ladkiyan paer nahi chooti’ (No no. Girls don’t touch feet). I was like, ‘Sir, please allow me. As an actor, let me get into it.”

Lehar fondly reminisced about her days on the Brahmastra set and the camaraderie she shared with Amitabh Bachchan. She recalled how the legendary actor would often compliment her smile, saying, “Like I would just be standing and smiling looking at the set. Out of nowhere, he would come and say, ‘Mohatarma, aapki muskaan toh matlab…’ All these memories are forever for me. I hope I get to work with him again.”

Talking about her latest film, Jawan is a Red Chillies Entertainment production directed by Atlee, produced by Gauri Khan, and co-produced by Gaurav Verma. The film made its grand release on September 7, 2023, captivating audiences in Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu languages.
