Tanya Maniktala, currently stealing the show in Dharma Productions' action thriller Kill, recently participated in a fun rapid-fire round with Bollywood Hungama. In this interview, she reveals her reasons for joining the film, what impresses her most about her co-stars, and her personal preferences on everything from relationships to travel.

Why Kill? Dedication Among Co-Stars

When asked why she signed on for Kill, Tanya's answer was straightforward: "I love the part." She also highlighted the dedication of her co-stars, Raghav Juyal and Lakshya Lalwani.

Winning Over Celebrities

The rapid-fire session also explored Tanya's approach to impressing industry veterans. To win over Vijay Sethupathi, she believes being "grounded and humble" is key. For Vikrant Massey, it's all about "knowing your craft." Ishaan Khatter, on the other hand, requires a friendly connection – "You have to be friends with him."

Respect and Kindness Rule

Tanya's ideal relationship is built on a foundation of "respect." When it comes to capturing her heart, she stated the importance of being a "kind human being."

Off-Screen Passions and Quirks

Currently, Tanya finds herself obsessing over the culinary competition show "MasterChef Australia." She acknowledges wanting to be more proactive and break a habit of being "a little lazy when it comes to doing things."

In true light-hearted fashion, Tanya reveals the silliest thing a guy has done for her - attempting to write her name on their wrist with a compass!

Personal Preferences

The rapid-fire also delves into Tanya's personal preferences. She leans towards a cosy "night in" over a night out, favours the experience of watching a film in a "theatre" over a home screening, and finds herself drawn to the romance genre more than comedy.

Given the choice between a "dream home" and a "world tour," Tanya opts for the thrill of a world tour. And in a final playful jab, when asked between Kill and her breakout series Suitable Boy, she declares without hesitation, "Oh no, no, no. Suitable Boy X Kill, it will be that!"
