Madhuri Dixit is currently gearing up for the release of her upcoming web series titled The Fame Game for Netflix. The suspenseful family drama marks the superstars foray into the digital platform. The series also brings together a brilliant ensemble cast that includes Sanjay Kapoor, Manav Kaul, Suhasini Mulay, Muskkaan Jaferi, Lakshvir Saran, and Rajshri Deshpande in pivotal roles.
Madhuri Dixit plays the role of superstar Anamika Anand who goes missing. The police, who set out to find Anamika, unearth a lot of secrets from the superstar's life. Soon the investigation goes from 'Where is Anamika Anand?' to 'Who is Anamika Anand?'.
Ahead of the release of the show, Madhuri answered some questions based on the theme of the show. When asked what it is like to be Madhuri Dixit, she said, “Very normal. I wake up, I am Mahuri Dixit. It's wonderful. It's great to be loved. It's great to have this life.”
When she was asked how the media's approach should be towards the families of celebrities, she said, "I think everybody is human, just be gentle".
Further, Madhuri also reacted to a comment on the trailer of The Fame Game which said, 'Interesting! Finally a meaty role for the supremely talented Madhuri Dixit after a long time. Why this trailer reminds me of Sridevi’s life?' Reacting to it, the actress said, “It has nothing to do with it. It is a very very different script. They will see it once it drops on the 25th. So please see it”.
