EXCLUSIVE: Rakul Preet Singh believes Deepika Padukone would make a great cop; appreciates Kareena Kapoor Khan as the cop in Angrezi Medium : Bollywood News

Rakul Preet Singh was recently seen in the role of a cop in Thank God. The film featured her as the uniformed wife of Sidharth Malhotra. Rakul, who is on a career high with films like Cuttputlli, Doctor G, and the latest release Thank God, was seen answering some interesting questions during the fun rapid fire session with Bollywood Hungama. When the actress was asked about who would look great as a cop onscreen, she had only two names in mind, Deepika Padukone and Kareena Kapoor Khan.

In an exclusive interview with Bollywood Hungama, Rakul Preet Singh was asked, ‘which actress do you think would look great in a police uniform?’ To the same, the actress responded, “I think Deepika Padukone.” Director Indra Kumar interrupted adding, “Main bas mann mein prompt kar raha tha, maine socha aur tumne Deepika ka hi naam liya. (I was just prompting it in my mind. I thought of Deepika’s name and you said it).” Continuing it further, Rakul added, “I think Kareena Kapoor Khan mam also looked very good in the film in which she played a cop, the Irrfan Khan starrer Angrezi Medium. She looked very good. ”

Kareena Kapoor Khan starrer Angrezi Medium featured her as a cop in the UK. It is being said that currently the actress, who is shooting in London for Hansal Mehta’s next, will be seen in the role of a cop yet again. Meanwhile, Deepika Padukone will be seen in the role of a spy in Pathaan starring Shah Rukh Khan and John Abraham.

On the work front, fans of Rakul Preet Singh are eagerly waiting to see a glimpse of her in the much talked about Indian 2, directed by S Shankar, starring Kamal Haasan and Kajal Aggarwal.
