Bollywood actor Sidharth Malhotra is currently promoting his Diwali release Thank God which stars Ajay Devgn and Rakul Preet Singh. In an exclusive interview with Bollywood Hungama, the actor reflected on his 10 years in the industry, and his career and made some interesting revelations.
During the rapid-fire round, when asked what is his all-time favourite movie of Ajay Devgn, Sidharth Malhotra said, “I got really inspired by him when he played Bhagat Singh. That was a tall order. The kind of intensity that he has in his eyes and he pulled it off, it was an iconic character. And to pull it off with that ease and that stature, so I would say, Bhagat Singh.”
The Legend of Bhagat Singh is a 2002 period film directed by Rajkumar Santoshi and narrated the story of Bhagat Singh, a Freedom Fighter who fought for the independence of India. It features Ajay Devgn, Sushant Singh, D. Santosh, Akhilendra Mishra, Raj Babbar, Farida Jalal and Amrita Rao. The film revolved around the life of Bhagat Singh from his life as a child to becoming a freedom fighter to being hanged to death on 23 March 1931.
On the work front, Sidharth Malhotra will be seen in Ajay Devgn-starrer Thank God, which also features Rakul Preet Singh. The film releases on October 25, 2022. He also has Mission Majnu with Rashmika Mandanna, Yodha with Disha Patani and Raashii Khanna and Rohit Shetty’s Indian Police Force with Shilpa Shetty, Vivek Oberoi. All projects are slated for 2023 release, respectively.
