Bollywood choreographer and director Farah Khan recently opened up about her struggles with conception, IVF treatment, and the birth of her triplets in a heartfelt interview on Nova IVF Fertility's YouTube channel. The choreographer-turned-director discussed the emotional toll of her journey, particularly when she learned about difficulties in conceiving.
"One day while filming Om Shanti Om, I received a call from the doctor during a lunch break. They informed me it wasn't successful this time," she shared. "Shah Rukh sensed something was wrong; I was on the verge of tears. He called for a break and took me to his van, where I cried for an hour."
The interview dives into the unique experience of delivering triplets around fifteen years ago. "It was surreal," Farah revealed, describing the delivery room filled with 35 people.
Adding a touch of humour, Farah recounted the unexpected chaos that ensued with Shah Rukh Khan's hospital visit. "The same day, Shah Rukh came to the hospital, and there was a stampede! Patients even came out with their IV drips still attached. There he was, Shah Rukh Khan, standing amidst the commotion!"
Farah and Shah Rukh’s deep friendship is well-known in the Indian film industry. Farah has directed Shah Rukh Khan in successful films like Main Hoon Na (2004), Om Shanti Om (2007), and Happy New Year (2014).
