While they have never openly confessed about dating each other, they have also stopped themselves from sharing pictures on social media. A recent picture shared by Farhan Akhtar found itself in the midst of jokes when Farhan mentioned that he ‘bumped’ into Shibani in a restaurant.

The reports of Farhan Akhtar and Shibani Dandekar being in a relationship started doing the rounds when they were snapped in New York together. While some maintained that they were just good friends, a recent episode where Shibani took a stand for Farhan [after he commented on the Sajid Khan sexual harassment controversy], it only fueled up the speculations further. Fans of social media currently seem to be convinced about this alleged love affair and hence the recent post became a subject of joke amongst fans who started posting sarcastic comments on the platform.

While many believe that Farhan had shared it as a sarcastic take on the ongoing rumours about his alleged affair with host turned actress, some have been trolling the actor-singer for the caption. Here’s a glimpse of the same:

On the work front, Farhan Akhtar is yet to announce about his acting ventures. He will be seen producing KGF Chapter 1, a multi lingual Indian film featuring Yash, Srinidhi Shetty amongst others. The film is directed by Prashanth Neel and is considered to be one of the few South films that are mounted on a massive scale. He will also be producing Gully Boy starring Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt which is directed by his sister Zoya Akhtar.
