Here’s who Alia Bhatt celebrated her Friendship Day with and it was definitely special for her!

A day ago, we spotted everyone rejoicing the special day dedicated to friendship and love! And of course, everyone wanted to spend it with closed ones but there is this one special group that Alia Bhatt decided to dedicate the day to. She not only dedicated it, she also spent some quality time with them during lunch.

Not surprisingly, we saw Alia Bhatt enjoying a nice lunch date with her best friend Akanksha Ranjan Kapoor. But besides her, if there was something special about the lunch time was that another bestie of Alia joined them – it was none other than Soni Razdan. Also, adding to the mother-daughter time was Akanksha’s mother Anu Ranjan. Well looks like the four of them had a gala time at the plus Italian restaurant CinCin located in Bandra Kurla Complex.

Well, many actresses have time and again confessed that they share a great rapport with their respective mothers. And here’s Alia showcasing her lovely camaraderie with her mother, actress and filmmaker Soni as the two decided to spend Friendship Day together.

Apart from that, the two of them also took to social media to share about the luncheon celebrations. Alia Bhatt shared a picture of all four of them during the session on Instagram and captioned it as, “2 + 2 friends = 1 loud lunch #happyfriendshipday.” Whereas Soni too posted the same picture on her page adding, “Some Sundays are soooper special #motherdaughter #friendships #happyfriendshipday #yummyfood #cincin.”

Speaking of films, Alia Bhatt and Soni Razdan have shared screen space only one film, the recently released Raazi which features them as onscreen mother-daughter too. On the other hand, Alia will next be seen in three movies next year – the multi starrer Kalank featuring Varun Dhawan, Gully Boy featuring Ranveer Singh and the superhero drama Brahmastra with beau Ranbir Kapoor.
