Off late, Ekta Kapoor has been facing a lot of cyber bullying because of a particular episode in her web show, XXX uncensored season 2. The episode showed the female protagonist disrespecting the Indian Army uniform and it eventually led to Hindustani Bhau filing a complaint against Ekta Kapoor and her mother Shobha Kapoor.
Ekta Kapoor explained her point in an interview, post which, Hina Khan came out in support of her. Ekta said that her 73 years old mother, and her kid have been receiving rape threats along with her. Hina Khan has played the role of Komolika in Ekta Kapoor’s Kasautii Zindagii Kay, and the duo share a close-knit friendship. Hina quote tweeted Ekta’s tweet and said, “An unintentional mistake, Rectified! But threatening rape to a woman and her family. Cyber bullying to pressurise one into submission should never be appreciated. Human error can never justify grave crimes that happen to innocent people..That too is disrespectful! #StandUpWoman”.
