A one-of-a-kind awards that honour the finest and most stylish in the fields of the film industry, business, sports, politics, and the seventh edition of the HT Most Stylish Awards 2018 transpired last night at Yash Raj Studios in Mumbai. A starry affair, the tinsel town celebs put their most fashionable foot forward by roping in some of the most-sought after luxe designer wear on the red carpet. The show witnessed a melange of endearing moments, heart-warming speeches and sizzling performances. In a bid to shine the brightest, some of these tinsel town celebs undertook a great deal of risk, experimenting with style in tandem with their fashion stylists. However, their supposed to be sartorial offerings exuded a lukewarm vibe and failed to woo the fashion police. Amongst the ones who found themselves on the offenders list included Sonam Kapoor, Sridevi Kapoor, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Kriti Sanon and Hina Khan.
Without much ado, let’s take a quick glance at the style offenders from the red carpet of the HT Most Stylish Awards 2018.

Styled by her sister and the infallible Rhea Kapoor, we were quite astonished with Sonam Kapoor’s experimental streak with bright yellow on the red carpet. The tricky hue coupled with the tricky silhouette of the Hyunmi Nielsen gown teamed with jewellery of a choker, cuffs and rings failed to photograph well. A look that certainly failed to bring out the best of the stylish duo, Sonam and Rhea, we were mega disappointed with Sonam’s look.
Sridevi
Going for a shimmery pink jumpsuit teamed with open toed heels, bold makeup and blow dried hair, Sridevi’s look lacked the usual panache that the diva exudes and we blame the jumpsuit for the same.
Aishwarya Rai Bachchan
The diva wore a black Manish Malhotra embroidered and embellished black-gold creation that with loose waves and subtle makeup. A boring look, we were left wishing for Aishwarya Rai Bachchan to opt for something worthy enough to accentuate her stunning beauty.
Kriti Sanon
Styled by Sukriti Grover, Kriti Sanon dazzled in a bright yellow Deme by Gabriella fringed gown with a low back pony and subtle makeup. The only grouse that we had with Kriti’s look was her hairdo! Bouncy and blow dried waves would have complimented the fringes in an amazing way!
Hina Khan
The Bigg Boss 11 finalist donned a white and gold gown with voluminous sleeves and slit with dark lips and a sleek hairdo rounding out the look. A tad overkill, courtesy the lips and the sleeves, we wish Hina had toned out at least one element to elevate her look.
