“I went really aggressive” – Taapsee on her biggie with Akshay

With Akshay Kumar and Neeraj Pandey giving a nod of approval to Taapsee Pannu for their next outing together, the pretty girl is on cloud nine. Deservingly so as after a successful foray into Bollywood with Chashme Baddoor, she is now stepping into big league with a film where she plays an undercover secret agent.

"Well, now I can check mark my bucket list option of working in an action movie with Akshay Kumar," says Taapsee, "He is someone who has done so many action movies over the years and for me to do my first film with him and that too in the action space is a huge high indeed."

Taapsee is now preparing for the part which takes her away from the sweet girl image of Chashme Baddoor.

"Yes, that was a romcom and had me in a sweet avtar. Then in Running Shaadi.com, I am playing this small town fiery girl. However, this film with Akshay sees me in an altogether different space. Of course I can't reveal much about the part since I am a secret agent in the film. Let there be some secrets around that," says Taapsee in a tongue in cheek manner.

Apparently, the moment Taapsee got to know about the film, she was relentless in expressing her interest to Neeraj.

"I have no qualms in admitting that I went really aggressive in bagging this part. I was persistent with Neeraj that he had to consider me for the part. Ultimately I was auditioned and made it to the film. I am glad it all worked out," she smiles.

Taapsee would soon be joining Akshay and Neeraj in the Nepal schedule of the film which kick-starts in May.
