“The Theatre Round is the toughest day for the judges. Today, we pick the very best from amongst our own choices in the auditions. This is the day judges argue, fight, go a little crazy and also fall in love with the voices we choose to take the season forward & Upward," he wrote.

In the comment section, an Instagram user complained that he was not called to Mumbai despite clearing all audition rounds. Responding to him, Vishal wrote, "Just went to your profile and heard two songs you've recorded. Beet jaaniya and Tum Hi Ho. Bro, you can sing, but you need to work harder. Indian Idol mein main khud contestant hota toh audition tak nahin pahunchta, shaayad. But, yeh dhokha nahin hai. Somebody did you a favour, because if you do the work and come, you have some chance of going far. Right now, you wouldn't. Forgive me for being frank, and come and prove me right next season.”

Another Instagram user commented that  he was looted through an online audition process.  He said that he is talented and wants a chance but instead got robbed through an online audition. Responding to thism, Vishal asked him to report to the Police if anybody took money from him. "gar aapse kisi ne paise liye hain, toh please Police ko khabar karein, case karein aur unhe jail bhejein. Aise koi nhi log na Sony na Content Team, aur na Judges se jude hain(If anybody took money from you, please inform the police and file a case and make sure they go to jail. Such people are not associated to Sony Team, Content Team or the judges," he wrote.
