The latest addition to her long list of achievements is the prestigious Best Actress award at the 69th National Awards, a triumph that she earned for her effortless portrayal in Mimi, a 2021 release where she took on the role of a surrogate mother. Post the victory, Kriti shared pictures with her family and industry friends expressing her gratitude.

On Friday, Kriti took to Instagram to share delightful snapshots of the festivity held in the company of her close-knit circle. Among the heartwarming images, one captured the moment of Kriti enveloped in the warm embrace of her parents, their beaming smiles radiating a palpable sense of pride for their daughter's achievement. Another photograph showcased Kriti's sister, Nupur Sanon, enveloping her in a heartfelt hug, accompanying it with a tender kiss on the cheek. Kriti also posed alongside Dinesh Vijan, the producer behind Mimi under the banner of Maddock Films. The celebratory ensemble was further joined by actor Varun Sharma, adding to the joyous camaraderie of the occasion. Sharing the post, Kriti captioned, “Surrounded with love and loved ones. So much Gratitude in my heart.”

Apart from this, on the film front, Kriti was last seen in Om Raut’s directorial Adipurush. Produced by T-Series, Bhushan Kumar & Krishan Kumar, Om Raut, Prasad Sutar, and Rajesh Nair of Retrophiles, it was released worldwide on June 16, 2023. The actress will be next seen in Ganapath with Tiger Shroff, The Crew alongside Kareena Kapoor Khan and Tabu, and an untitled next with Shahid Kapoor, which is set to release on December 7. There have also been reports about the yet-untitled film that will see Kriti as a robot and Shahid as a scientist, who falls in love with the former. Dharmendra is also part of the project. She also has venture with own production, titled, Do Patti.
