Ishita Gupta, our Gen Z supermodel and designer who has taken the fashion industry by storm was the only Indian to grace the Royal Ascot 2023.

Born in Ludhiana to an aristocratic family of doctors, Ishita moved to London to pursue acting from LAMDA, where she founded two brands ISIVIS London and Iygieia London.

In 1711, Queen Anne founded Royal Ascot, the annual horse-racing event, and since, it has remained a staple on the British royal family's annual calendar. The event was historically a favorite of Queen Elizabeth's, and this is the first year the royals will attend without their late matriarch. On each day, King Charles and Queen Camilla attended, along with many other royals and members of Camilla's family.

Ishita graced the event in a black Gucci dress, which was paired with Gucci heels and accessorized with a Gucci bag along with dramatic headgear from Hostie Hats. The Royal Enclosure is the beating heart of Ascot and is where Ishita remained. This exclusive enclosure remains invitation-only membership and members can enjoy beautiful green lawns, champagne, seafood, or afternoon tea and has access to the Sunflower Lawn, Parade Ring, and Pre-Parade ring.

Guests at Royal Ascot should also follow etiquette rules, Racing Post published a list of 'absolute no's at Ascot which includes: Littering, urinating in public, shouting, getting drunk and/ or abusive, and barging through crowds.

Attendees are also advised not to use their phones and to keep them out of site. This year King Charles III and Queen Camilla attended all five days of the event.

Ishita is closely associated with the Bahraini Royal Family having to be the ex-fiancé of Sheikh Khalifa Bin Ali Bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, who is the Governor of the Southern Governorate and the son of the Deputy Prime Minister, Sheikh Ali bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, and grandson of the Prime Minister, Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa, who in turn is the uncle of King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa. Although they were to marry, Ishita decided to prioritize her dreams instead.
