In B-town, the Diwali celebrations have started in full force. Every year, Bollywood superstars light up the party parade in traditional attire at the Diwali celebrations hosted by renowned designer Manish Malhotra. This year was no exception. A designer of the stature of Manish Malhotra would, of course, have an equally fashionable guest list and, more obviously, wear his designs. Several of Bollywood's biggest personalities graced the star-studded occasion, making it one of the most talked-about Diwali celebrations of the year. Janhvi, an actress of great talent and versatility, honoured the occasion with her presence. Janhvi Kapoor looked no less than a Golden Goddess in a gorgeous Manish Malhotra creation.

In an extravagantly gilded ensemble designed by Manish Malhotra, one of her favourite couturiers, Janhvi Kapoor stole the show. The lehenga was literally covered in sequins; it was actually a fuss-free pre-draped ensemble. Malhotra experimented with matte and glossy finishes to give the ensemble texture, and she completed the look with a beige tulle dupatta that had a striking border. Janhvi Kapoor's golden blouse was the focal point of the ensemble, without a doubt. Plunging neckline, cropped hem and embellished with gold sequins gave it an extra edge. Accessories weren't necessary for Janhvi Kapoor's all-eyes-on-me look to grab attention. It is therefore not surprising that the star went with a simple look for her jewels, accessorising her lehenga only with delicate earrings. She did, however, go all out for her beauty look, using a lot of kohl to accent her eyes and bronzer to shape her face. Her ensemble was finished with wavy hair, a golden clutch, and a nude lip.

Meanwhile, on work front, Janhvi Kapoor has an amazing line-up of films. She will be making her Telugu debut with Devara opposite Jr NTR. She will reunite with Rajkummar Rao for Mr and Mrs Mahi.
