Janhvi Kapoor’s fangirl behaviour for Rajkummar Rao is endearing AF

Janhvi Kapoor just wowed us with her magazine cover for Vogue India and her mentor Karan Johar gave her a smashing interview in his style to introduce her. He called her ‘Dharma Girl’ and well we all know that is one powerful, privileged tag and it assures success in Bollywood too. What more? She looked pretty gorgeous on her debut cover and the industry welcomed her with open arms, all the debate about nepotism notwithstanding. She spoke a lot to Karan Johar about her foray into films and the fact that she still misses her mother Sridevi too much to carry on with her life normally. Karan also revealed that she keeps talking about her mom constantly which is both endearing and heart-breaking. Janhvi also spoke about her films and her favourite actors from the industry. So, she revealed that she loves Rajkummar Rao, Dhanush and Nawazuddin Siddiqui as their performance is pure gold.

She also made a startling confession. After watching Bareilly Ki Barfi she was so enamoured by Rajkummar’s performance that she kept liking his every photo on social media hoping that he would notice her. She said, “I’m not sure if I should say this, but after watching Bareilly Ki Barfi, I really wanted Rajkummar Rao to notice me, so I commented on all his photos. He’s the only person I’ve asked for a photo with.” She could now stop praising Rajkummar, Nawaz and Dhanush and said, “They’re so good! I’m attracted to someone who can immerse me, and all these actors are so expressive.”

Janhvi’s first film is Dhadak which is directed by Shashank Khaitan and also stars Ishaan Khatter, Shahid Kapoor’s half-brother, in lead role.
