Considering the intense power-packed teaser that was released a few weeks ago along with much-anticipation surrounding the action entertainer, Jigra is already making waves. The film will bring together Alia Bhatt and The Archies fame Vedang Raina for the first time onscreen together with the film exploring the deep emotional bond of a brother and sister. While the actors are excited to see their work unfold onscreen, they have also shared their experience of sharing screen space with each other.

In a recent interaction, Alia Bhatt couldn’t stop appreciating the acting skills of Vedang Raina as she predicted a bright future for the budding actor. Alia Bhatt, in a recent interview with Dharma Productions, praised him saying, “Vedang is fabulous. He is amazing; I don’t think he knows how amazing he is. I remember when we were doing an emotional scene, I told him, ‘you cry very prettily,’ which is a very nice thing for a Hindi film hero. He is very hardworking and instinctive. He’s got a lot of depth which will take him very far in his career.” With a storyline full of emotion and action, Jigra promises to showcase Vedang’s talent in a significant way, marking an important step in his career.

Speaking about the movie, while fans are curious to know, the recently released 2-minute 49-second teaser trailer gave them a glimpse of the powerful bond the siblings share in the action entertainer. Directed by Vasan Bala, Jigra tells the story of a sister, played by Alia Bhatt, who goes to extreme lengths to protect her brother, portrayed by Vedang Raina. The much-awaited film is set to release on October 11, 2024 alongside several other releases, on the occasion of Dussehra.
