John Abraham on Pathaan, “Aditya Chopra has always given me some of my best roles” : Bollywood News

A lot has been said about Shah Rukh Khan’s appearance, action and swag in the trailer of Pathaan ever since it was dropped online. Before that, Deepika Padukone was the centre of attraction for this film because of the controversy surrounding the film’s song ‘Besharam Rang’.

But Pathaan also stars John Abraham in the pivotal role of a terrorist who plans a major attack on India in the movie.

John has now expressed how important the film stands in his career. He took to his Instagram story and wrote, “In my years of cinema, this moment, right here, right now is a special one. It’s amazing that you have showered so much love on the trailer of Pathaan. A lot of hard work has been put into making this one. It’s a biggie.”

Showing gratitude towards producer Aditya Chopra of Yash Raj Films, he added, “Adi has always given me some of my best roles & I can’t wait for you to see what (director) Siddharth Anand has done with me and the film! I want to say so much about Pathaan but let’s wait for Jan 25^th. Get set for an awesome big screen entertainer!! Thank you once again for the overwhelming response to our trailer!!”

Pathaan also stars Dimple Kapadia and it has a cameo by Salman Khan. The film is all set to release in cinemas on January 25.
