South Korean network tvN has dropped a new teaser for upcoming epic medical drama titled Joseon Psychiatrist Yoo Se Poong, featuring Kim Min Jae, Kim Hyang Gi and Kim Sang Kyung all set to heal and steal hearts.
According to Soompi, based on a novel of the same name, Joseon Psychiatrist Yoo Se Poong depicts the story of Yoo Se Poong (Kim Min Jae), a well-known internal medicine doctor who gets expelled from the royal court after being caught up in a conspiracy. Soon, he meets Seo Eun Woo (Kim Hyang Gi) and Gye Ji Han (Kim Sang Kyung) in the strange and beautiful Gyesu village and works to become a true doctor who heals the heart.
The new 15-second teaser opens with the three characters struggling to open a door. Gye Ji Han asks, as translated by Soompi, “Why isn’t this opening?” Yoo Se Poong replies, “I think it’ll open with a little more push.” Soon the door opens with Yoon Se Poong, Seo Eun Woo, and Gye Ji Han greeting the viewers with a bright smile. “What brings you here today? I’ll examine your heart first,” says Yoo Se Poong.
Joseon Psychiatrist Yoo Se Poong premieres on August 1 at 10:30 p.m. KST. Watch the teaser below!
