Bollywood actress Kangana Ranaut is overjoyed as she prepares to welcome a new addition to her family. Her brother, Aksht Ranaut, and his wife Ritu are soon to embrace parenthood, and the family is brimming with excitement. The couple had tied the knot in a blissful ceremony in November 2020 in the picturesque town of Manali.

In a recent display of love and anticipation, Kangana Ranaut shared heartwarming glimpses of her bhabhi's (sister-in-law's) Godh Bharai ceremony on her Instagram account. Godh Bharai is a cherished Indian tradition that marks the celebration of the expectant mother and her unborn child, as the entire family gathers to shower blessings and well wishes upon them.

The series of pictures unveiled by Kangana showcased the radiant charm of the occasion. Dressed elegantly in a pink saree adorned with a shimmering copper-and-silver border, Kangana exuded grace and beauty. Completing her look with a heavy necklace, earrings, and henna-decorated hands, she looked resplendent. Accompanying Kangana in the pictures was her sister and manager, Rangoli Chandel, who looked graceful in a beige sari paired with an exquisite necklace. The expectant mother, Ritu, was a vision of grace in a vibrant vermillion red saree, accessorized with gold necklaces, earrings, bangles, and a gajra (a flower accessory) adorning her hair. Kangana's brother, Aksht, donned a simple and traditional white kurta-pajama, exuding a sense of contentment and anticipation as he prepares to embrace fatherhood.

The heartfelt moments of bonding and celebration were further captured in the pictures of Kangana cherishing precious moments with her mother, Asha Ranaut, who looked magnificent in a yellow salwar suit. Sharing the post, Kangana wrote in caption, “Sharing some precious moments from Ritu Ranaut’s Godbharai…Our hearts are full and we all are eagerly awaiting the arrival of Baby Ranaut … thanks for all your well wishes and blessings.”

Meanwhile, coming to the film front, Kangana was last seen in Dhaakad, which also featured Arjun Rampal and Divya Dutta. The film performed poorly at the box office. Currently, Ranaut is awaiting the release of her next film, which is also her second directorial venture, Emergency. Based on the 1975 Indian Emergency, the ensemble star cast also stars Anupam Kher, Shreyas Talpade, Mahima Chaudhry and Milind Soman in pivotal roles. The film is all set to release in theatres on November 24.
