Kareena Kapoor Khan reflects on ‘days of innocence’ as Yuva celebrates 20 years

Kareena Kapoor Khan Celebrates 20 Years of 'Yuva' with Nostalgic Throwback, Amitabh Bachchan Joins in Reminiscing.

Kareena Kapoor Khan recently took to social media to celebrate the 20th anniversary of her film Yuva, sharing a nostalgic throwback picture that captured the ‘days of innocence.’ Directed by Mani Ratnam, Yuva was released in 2004 and featured an ensemble cast, including Ajay Devgn, Esha Deol, Abhishek Bachchan, Rani Mukerji and Vivek Oberoi.

Taking to her Instagram stories, she shared a photo of her in her younger days and wrote, “days of innocence”. The photo has gone viral. Recently, Amitabh Bachchan also shared a photo with Abhishek Bachchan and wrote an emotional note. “When Abhishek won the Award for YUVA .. when his name was announced he took me to the stage and gave the Award to me .. I said yeh mera nahi tumhara hai, aur jo mera who tumhara.. Today celebrating 20 years of its release !!! What a film and what a performance Bhaiyu .. you are the best.”

Yuva was a social and political drama told through the eyes of three protagonists – played by Abhishek Bachchan, Ajay Devgn and Vivek Oberoi – from three different strata of society. The film was about what happens when their paths cross and their lives get changed forever.

As far as Kareena’s upcoming films are concerned, she will be seen in Hansal Mehta's The Buckingham Murders as well as in Rohit Shetty's Singham Again. This third edition in the blockbuster franchise stars Ajay Devgn, Arjun Kapoor, Deepika Padukone, Akshay Kumar, Tiger Shroff, and Ranveer Singh. Singham Again is one of the keenly awaited Bollywood movies of the year.
