Karisma Kapoor is getting ready to embark on a new project. She recently announced that she worked on the film Brown with director Abhinay Deo. The Bollywood actress announced the wonderful news on her Instagram account.

The Raja Hindustani actress posted a snapshot of a clapper board with the word "Brown" on it. On Instagram, the actress captioned the photo, "Brown, here's to fresh beginnings,” included in the post. The film is based on the novel “City of Death.”

Surya Sharma, known for her roles in Yeh Kaali Kaali Aankhein and Undekhi, will also appear in the film, according to the actress. Zee Studios will release the picture, which will be directed by Abhinay Deo. Abhinay Deo, too, expressed his admiration for Brown.

Kareena Kapoor Khan, Karisma's sister, used her Instagram stories to wish her older sister well with her new business. Kareena wrote a note for her sister and attached a sticker that read, "You are the best."

On the work front, Karisma Kapoor was most recently seen in the web series Mentalhood. In the show, she played Meira Sharma.
