Bollywood actress Katrina Kaif, who shares a close bond with Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma, recently praised the celebrity couple's unwavering support for each other. As Team India faced Australia in the final match of the Cricket World Cup 2023 in Ahmedabad, Anushka flew to the venue to cheer on her husband, Virat Kohli. This public display of support has become a notable aspect of their relationship, and Katrina Kaif joined the chorus of admiration.

In a recent conversation with IANS, Katrina spoke warmly about the camaraderie between Virat and Anushka. She remarked, “They (Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma) are such wonderful support to each other.” Living in close proximity as neighbours, Katrina acknowledged the joy Anushka displays while cheering for Virat during his matches. “It’s beautiful to see that,” Katrina added.

Katrina further expressed admiration for Virat Kohli as an inspiration and commended his dedication and discipline. Reflecting on his fitness journey, she noted, “Look at the fitness level that he has brought in, he has only made himself better. You see the dedication and the discipline that he has brought in.”

Despite Virat Kohli's outstanding performance throughout the Cricket World Cup, earning him the title of Player of the Tournament, Team India faced a disappointing defeat in the final against Australia, led by Travis Head. The coveted trophy remained elusive for India, leaving fans and players disheartened despite their commendable efforts.

Meanwhile, Katrina is currently basking in the fine response received by her film Tiger 3 at the box office. It is the third instalment in the Tiger franchise and a part of the YRF Spy Universe with the likes of War and Pathaan. She played Zoya opposite Salman Khan's Tiger in the film. She also has Merry Christmas in the pipeline, set to release on Jan 12, 2024.
