Kiara Advani and Vicky Kaushal recently graced the couch on the popular talk show, Koffee With Karan Season 8, where the conversation delved into their personal lives, love stories, and Kiara's reputation as a hit machine and lucky mascot in the film industry.
During the show, host Karan Johar showered Kiara with compliments, referring to her as a "hit machine" and a "lucky mascot" in the film industry. Kiara shared an insightful anecdote about a conversation with football legend David Beckham. Kiara recalled being at the India vs New Zealand Cricket World Cup 2023 semi-final, where she was seated next to David Beckham. When someone around them mentioned India's perceived lucky streak, Beckham responded by saying, "It's not luck. It's someone's hard work." Kiara, resonating with Beckham's perspective, expressed the importance of talent, skill, and hard work, emphasizing that success is a result of collective effort.
The actress shared the profound realization from Beckham, stating, "It's never just a fluke. It's never just like a stroke of luck. It is always a team, in our case of course. And many people's hard work. It's talent, skill, hard work. If you don't have that, no matter if the stars are in your favour, not everyone hits it out."
Karan Johar had previously teased the episode on Instagram, calling Kiara Advani and Vicky Kaushal "the beauty and the bahadur," with a playful nod to Vicky's recent film, Sam Bahadur. The episode showcased a blend of candid revelations, charming anecdotes, and insights into the dynamic between the two Bollywood stars.
Koffee With Karan Season 8’s new episode is streaming on Disney+ Hotstar.
