Ahead of the release, Kriti shared a series of new photos on Instagram and asked fans for their thoughts on the trailer. Do Patti also marks Shaheer Sheikh’s debut in films.

Kriti posted photos of herself in two different outfits and captioned, “Thoda Saumya ka color..Thoda Shelly ka grey shade.. #DoPatti ka Trailer kaisa laga?”. Fans reacted to it. One of the fans wrote, “Bahot Zabardast Laga Trailer Killing It S Saumya & Shailee Hats Off To Your Dedication My Cutie Best Wishes For #DoPatti @kritisanon.” Another wrote, “Boss lady.”

On Tuesday, Kajol shared the poster and said, “Sach ya jhoot? Is Raaz an insaaf? What side are you on in the game of Do Patti? Do Patti will be available exclusively on Netflix on October 25. The new image portrays Kriti Sanon as a double, Shaheer Sheikh, and Kajol in fierce avatars.

Set in Manali, Do Patti centers on a murder mystery filled with suspense, thrill, and drama. Kajol portrays a tough cop tasked with solving the case. As the trailer unfolds, viewers meet Kriti Sanon’s character, Saumya, and Shaheer Sheikh’s Dhruv, a couple deeply in love. However, their relationship takes a dark turn when Saumya’s twin sister enters the scene, creating turmoil in their personal and marital lives. The plot follows Dhruv's arrest in an attempted murder case and Kajol's character's efforts to solve the mystery of the twin sisters.

Do Patti marks the production debut of Kriti Sanon and Kanika Dhillon. Dhillon expressed, “Do Patti is a special project, and it's incredibly satisfying to deliver a thrilling and engaging story. Audiences will see Kriti Sanon in a new light, and having Kajol, such a legendary actor, was a pleasure as a writer-producer.”
