The fourth day of the five-day fashion extravaganza, Lakme Fashion Week Summer/Resort 2019 edition saw designers Saaksha and Kinni rope in Pooja Hegde as the muse for their latest collection. A visibly excited Pooja sashayed down the runway, looking chic in a checkered blue short dress.

The Nomada collection by the designer duo was a non-fussy take on the quintessential summer style. Adhering to the quote by Isabelle Eberhardt, ‘A Nomad I will remain for life, in love with distant and uncharted places’. For the free-spirited gypsy girl, the collection was a heady concoction of those summery bohemian vibes. With rampant micro pleating evident on the ensembles along with ghe usage of floral abstract prints and checks on fabrics like the breezy cotton silk and organza and lush velvets and brocades, the colour palatte was a refreshing melange of pinks, blue, mustard and burgundy. Pooja wore a fit and flare blue sheer checkered dress layered with a checkered cape.

A classy gold and diamond brooch attached to one of her earrings upped her look.

Wavy half updo and minimal makeup completed her look.

On the professional front, Pooja will be seen in Housefull 4 and in the Telugu film, Maharshi alongside Mahesh Babu and Allari Naresh that is scheduled for a release on 25 April 2019.
