Trinetra Haldar shared her thoughts on doing Made In Heaven 2, shifting to Mumbai and pursuing acting while doing an internship in the medical field.

Trinetra Haldar Gummaraju, a transgender woman, made her acting debut with Amazon Prime Video India's Made In Heaven Season 2. The show, which was released on August 10, follows the lives of two wedding planners as they arrange lavish weddings for the super-elite clientele.

In an exclusive interview with Bollywood Hungama, Trinetra spoke about her journey from being a doctor to an actor. She said that she never really thought being an actor was possible because “living her life as a woman itself was such an unachievable feat.” However, she got her big break when she auditioned for Made In Heaven Season 2 while she was still doing her internship.

"I would have to jump back and forth between that world and this world and it was so much fun," she said. "But at the same time, it was obviously very physically and mentally exhausting, because the two worlds are very different demands of a person."

Trinetra further added, “So after I finished my internship, I realised that maybe it's time to prioritise, and maybe it's time to explore different facets of my being before continuing with my post-grad as that would limit how much time and energy I would have to give to anything else. So that's essentially why I moved along there.”

She recently shifted to Mumbai, where she is now based. Speaking of the same, she asserted, "I absolutely love the city. I feel like the wildest fantasies that a child can have about the future can come through in the city. The very first time I came to the city was - to audition for Made In Heaven 2. And it was a Luck-by-Chance moment that I was at the right place at the right time. I'm just grateful that Zoya [Akhtar] saw something in me and trusted me with this character.”
