While she has been a part of many serials, Sumona Chakravarti’s main claim to fame is the Kapil Sharma show. The actress who has been portraying several characters including stand-up comedian turned actor Kapil’s on screen wife, had a trip down the memory lane when she met Bollywood actress Manisha Koirala.

Describing it as a fan moment of sorts, Sumona was thrilled to have Manisha Koirala on the show where she appeared for the first time to promote her forthcoming film Dear Maya. Besides bonding and clicking a selfie with Manisha, Sumona also shared a childhood picture of her and revealed that she had shared screen space with the Bollywood actress in the Aamir Khan starrer Mann almost 18 years ago.

Let us remind you that Sumona Chakravarti, then a child actor, played the role of one of Manisha Koirala’s students as the latter plays the role of a music teacher in the film Mann.

Besides Dear Maya, Manisha Koirala will also play a prominent role in Rajkumar Hirani’s much ambitious Sanjay Dutt biopic. The actress will portray the character of yesteryear actress Nargis Dutt, Sanjay’s mother in the film.
