Manushi Chhillar made her grand Bollywood debut alongside Akshay Kumar in Samrat Prithviraj. She is celebrating five years of winning the iconic Miss World crown.

Manushi was crowned Miss World on November 18, 2017, bringing back the glorious crown to India, 17 years after Priyanka Chopra. Reminiscing her win, Manushi expressed her thoughts on her Instagram writing, “Five years of the day that changed my life forever. Five years of service, love and a journey that’s only given me the best of memories. Only gratitude today.”

Meanwhile on the work front, Manushi recently wrapped up the shoot of Tehran, a geo-political drama which also stars John Abraham. Based on true events, the film went on-floors a few months ago.

A Maddock Films production in association with Bake My Cake Films, Tehran has been directed by Arun Gopalan, written by Ritesh Shah and Ashish Prakash Verma, and produced by Dinesh Vijan, Shobhna Yadav, and Sandeep Leyzell.
