Filmmaker Nia DaCosta has expressed her desire to work with Shah Rukh Khan in a future project.

Nia DaCosta, the director of the upcoming Marvel Cinematic Universe film The Marvels, has expressed her desire to work with Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan in an exclusive interview with News18 Showsha.

"Shah Rukh Khan is kind of a legend, isn't he? It's kind of a no-brainer in that sense," DaCosta said when asked who she would like to work with from Bollywood.

When asked if she had ever considered casting a Bollywood actor in The Marvels, DaCosta said that there was no discussion about it during the making of the film. "I never thought about that," she admitted. "I think we were just keeping everything really organic, so we never wanted to do any kind of stunt casting. But there is always time, there's always time."

The Marvels is scheduled to be released in theatres on November 10 in English, Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu. The film brings together three female superheroes for the first time: Carol Danvers aka Captain Marvel (Brie Larson), Kamala Khan aka Ms. Marvel (Iman Vellani), and Captain Monica Rambeau (Teyonah Parris).

Meanwhile, speaking of SRK, he recently celebrated his 58th birthday. On the professional front, he was last seen in Jawan, which started streaming on Netflix on the occasion of his birthday on November 2.

Besides this, he also made headlines as the makers of his next film, Dunki, shared the first teaser. Along with him, the film will also star Taapsee Pannu and Vicky Kaushal. It is slated to release on December 22 this year, clashing with Prabhas’ Salaar.
