Mohanlal’s ViswaSanthi Foundation provides over 200 oxygen beds and 10 ICU beds with Ventilators to Kerala hospitals amid COVID crisis 200 : Bollywood News

On his birthday, Indian film superstar Mohanlal revealed how his foundation ViswaSanthi has helped the state of Kerala amid the ongoing COVID crisis. ViswaSanthi is a non-profit organization established by actor Mohanlal in the names of his parents Viswanathan and Santhakumari in 2015.

On Friday, Mohanlal took to his social media handle and shared a video of the oxygen beds and ventilators donated by his foundation. Along with it he wrote, "Viswasanthi Foundation has provided 200+ oxygen support beds & 10 ICU beds with ventilator & portable X-ray machines - to various hospitals in Kerala. Also providing support for the installation of Oxygen Pipeline to wards and Triage ward of Kalamassery Medical College."

"The beneficiaries of this support include hospitals in the Government, Co-operative, and private sector too. All these hospitals are empaneled under the KASP (Karunya Arogya Suraksha Padhathi) healthcare scheme of Kerala Government," he added.

"Viswasanthi Foundation is executing this 1.5 crore project in association with EY GDS and UST. My sincere thanks to EY GDS, UST, and all associated hospitals for their cooperation with Viswasanthi in this joint fight against #Covid19," he concluded.

Meanwhile, on the work front, Mohanlal is awaiting the release of the National Award Winning film Marakkar: Lion of the Arabian Sea. His directorial debut Barroz also went on floors earlier this year.
