Disney+ Hotstar's Life Hill Gayi is set to launch this week. Stripped of their wealth, race to family inheritance brings the siblings Dev and Kalki from the city to a quaint little town of Uttarakhand to win the race. Produced by Aarushi Nishank, Himshrri Films, directed by Prem Mistry and written by Jasmeet Singh Bhatia, the series stars Divyenndu and Kusha Kapila along with Vinay Pathak, Mukti Mohan, Kabir Bedi, Bhagyashree, Aditi Govitrikar among others. The series will begin streaming on 9th August 2024.

Mukti Mohan effortlessly slips into the free-spirited role of Hima in Life Hill Gayi. She felt a certain relatability and ease while playing the character and spills the beans on why she said yes to the role and how she enjoyed playing the character. Talking about this, Mukti Mohan said, “What drove me to play Hima is the tag “working woman in a village” and how this stereotype needed to be shown with a twist of humour and Life hill Gayi had the best opportunity for me to showcase that “every woman is working” specially in villages."

She added, "Hima is a pahadi yet studied in big cities. She actually inspired me to see similarities between her and me, she’s determined, disciplined, decisive, entrepreneurial, highly self-esteemed and adventurous. Moreover, focusing on these qualities helped me understand her better. The urban-rural differences punched with humour and a fun representation of a pahadi girl instantly made me say yes!”
