The 2022 New York Fashion Week is currently underway and is seeing a burst of Korean entertainment inclusion. It’s hard to believe that it’s taken this long for a K-Pop star to make a legitimate New York Fashion Week cameo. Even though members of BLACKPINK and BTS have been seated in the front rows for the past several seasons, Peter Do was the first to employ an icon, choosing NCT member JENO as the star of his new menswear imprint. And just like that, Jeno has hit the headlines! The NCT star, who just flew to New York for fashion week, has made his formal runway debut and is looking handsome as ever in his flawless suit.
On September 13, NCT member Jeno walked the runway as part of New York-based fashion designer Peter Do's Spring/Summer 2023 collection. The designer posted a video of Jeno's runway look, a black backless ensemble that is cinched with a trailing belt and highlighted by side-slit trousers. Dressed in a black and white suit that has slits at the back and black chunky heels, Jeno genuinely strutted down the runway. Jeno made quite a visual as he walked the ramp in his slicked-back look. Do’s new collection revolves around the theme of time, which is teased with custom invites that are created by the designer in partnership with SM Entertainment and take the shape of memory boxes.
Prior to the runway show, Jeno also attended the Vogue World event, which was in celebration of Vogue’s 130th anniversary. The idol was seen posing with Sabrina Carpenter, Jared Leto, Elle Goulding, and Dove Cameron, among other attendees.
