With Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor celebrating the arrival of their first child, the Kapoor Khandan seems to be prepping for celebrations. Recently, the media spotted Neetu Kapoor who expressed her happiness of being a ‘dadi’ (paternal grandmother). During the same, the curious paparazzi enquired about the mother’s health and thrilled veteran actress assured that her ‘bahu’ (daughter-in-law) is alright.

The paparazzi recently spotted Neetu Kapoor around her residence and quizzed her about the news of Alia Bhatt delivering a baby girl. When she was asked, what does she have to say about a ‘laxmi’ (Goddess Laxmi) arriving at her house, the thrilled grandmother replied, “Main kya kahungi? (What will I say) I am very happy.” She was further asked by the paps about who does the kid resemble? Responding to it, Neetu shared, “Abhi toh woh bahut choti hai na abhi nahi bata sakti (She is too small right now to say) but she is very cute.”

Further, the media also enquired about Alia’s health. Earlier today, rumours had it that the actress went through C section. However, assuring that she is absolutely fine, Neetu added, “Ekdam first class. Absolutely alright. Everything is fine.”

In the morning, we had reported that Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor visited HN Reliance Hospital. Soon after their visit, media reports were abuzz with the news that the actress delivered a baby girl. Couple of hours later, the actress confirmed the news on social media saying, "And in the best news of our lives:- our baby is here.. and what a magical girl she is <3 We are officially bursting with love - blessed and obsessed Parents!!! Love love love Ranbir and Alia"
