Today, April 30, marks the fourth anniversary of actor Rishi Kapoor's passing. Rishi Kapoor's wife, veteran actress Neetu Kapoor, took to social media to share a heartfelt tribute for her late husband.
For the unversed, Rishi Kapoor, a celebrated actor in Indian cinema, passed away in 2020 at the age of 67 after a two-year battle with cancer. His career spanned over four decades, with credits in films like the romantic drama Bobby (1973) and the political thriller Mulk (2018).
Neetu Kapoor's emotional Instagram post featured a heartwarming picture of her alongside Rishi Kapoor. The caption read, “4 years (flower and folded hands emoticons) for us life cannot be same without you (red heart emoticon).”

Neetu’s followers on the social media platform flooded the comments section with love. Meanwhile, her daughter Riddhima Kapoor Sahni also dropped red heart emojis.
Rishi Kapoor's final film appearance came in Sharmaji Namkeen (2022). Production for the movie began in 2020 but was interrupted by his passing. The late actor's unfinished role was completed by Paresh Rawal.
On a similar note, it is worth mentioning here that Neetu has never shied away from expressing her love for her late husband. Recently, she appeared on The Great India Kapil Show, where she recalled how Rishi Kapoor never spoiled Ranbir and Riddhima when they were young and studying abroad.
Speaking of the professional front, Neetu was last seen in Jug Jugg Jeeyo, which was released in 2022. She will be next seen in Letters to Mr Khanna, co-starring Sunny Kaushal. The team has already wrapped the shooting. However, the makers are yet to announce the release date.
