October actress Banita Sandhu makes her American TV debut with sci-fi series Pandora

British born actress Banita Sandhu made her way to Bollywood last year with Shoojit Sircar’s October starring alongside Varun Dhawan. After her debut, the audience expected her to do more Hindi films but seems like she could not find the right project. She went onto star in Diljit Dosanjh's music video ‘Jind Mahi’. Now, she has made her way to American Television a series regular with a role in CW sci-fi show Pandora.

After Priyanka Chopra, Tina Desai, Amy Jackson, Nimrat Kaur, Banita Sandhu is the latest one to make her way to American TV. The show premiered on Tuesday, July 16 on CW and the first look of Banita looked intriguing. "WiFi is for basics. Discover my tech tonight at 8pm on @thecw #PandoraCW," she captioned her first looks.

As per synopsis of Banita Sandhu’s character, she will essay the role of Delaney Pilar, Priscilla Quintana’s character Jax’s roommate. Deadline exclusively stated, “She is a brilliant, nannite-enhanced woman with cybernetic implants who is able to process information more quickly as she is perpetually connected to the Datastream. Because of her enhanced abilities, Pilar initially comes off as aloof and egotistical around others (“You act so superior.” “Because I am superior.”). Although her implants allow her to access the Datastream and the group mind of those in the Datacore, Pilar begins to question the decision to give up her individuality to the hive mind as a young child.”

Pandora stars Priscilla Quintana in the lead role with Banita Sandhu, Oliver Dench, Noah Huntley among others.
