The official X (formerly Twitter) account of the movie Animal has responded strongly to Swanand Kirkire following his critique of the Ranbir Kapoor starrer. Earlier this week on X, the lyricist and playback singer expressed his disapproval of the Sandeep Reddy Vanga film. Kirkire specifically called out the film's 'alpha male' dialogue, which insinuated that men not considered 'alpha material' become poets and make false promises. Additionally, he raised objections to the portrayal of women in the movie, asserting that it tarnishes the illustrious history of Indian cinema.

In response to Swanand's critique, the official page of Animal shared a newspaper clipping featuring Swanand's statement and accompanied it with a tweet that subtly attacked the multifaceted writer-actor-singer, tagging him in the post. The tweet carried an unconventional tone, blending fitness advice with a touch of sarcasm, “Do not let your knees fall ahead of your toes or cave in towards each other. Keep feet shoulder-width apart to maintain a good base of support for balance. Land softly on the balls of the feet to help absorb the force of the landing. Yes…. now it landed perfectly.”

Based on these current trends, trade predictions state that the business of Animal is more than likely to see further growth over the coming days. In fact, it will come as no surprise if the business of the film manages to cross not just the Rs. 500 cr but also the Rs. 600 cr mark at the worldwide box office.
