Padmaavat: Rishi Kapoor, Neetu Kapoor send flowers and congratulatory note to Deepika Padukone praising her performance

The controversial film Sanjay Leela Bhansali's Padmaavat finally released worldwide on January 25 amid heavy security at the cinema halls. The film has been facing protest and threats from fringe groups which led the makers to postpone the film from December 1 to January 25. While the threats and the protests refuse to stop, it has not stopped the audience from watching the film.

Ever since the first screenings to the final release of Padmaavat, the film and TV fraternity have been continuously praising every single actor's work in Padmaavat. While the appreciation is pouring in for the cast and the crew, veteran actors Rishi Kapoor and Neetu Kapoor had a special congratulatory message for Deepika Padukone.

Deepika Padukone, who plays the role of Rani Padmini of Chittor, was sent flowers and a lovely note from Rishi and Neetu. The note read, "Excellent work!!! So very proud of you. Love Neetu & Rishi Kapoor ."

Deepika shared a picture on her Instagram and thanked them for the lovely bouquet and wishes. "It was so lovely seeing both of you yesterday... Thank You for all the love & appreciation! @neetu54 #RishiKapoor," she wrote alongside the picture.

It is known that Rishi Kapoor and Neetu Kapoor share a lovely rapport with Deepika Padukone since the time she was dating Ranbir Kapoor. Though the actors aren’t together anymore, they have done two films together post their break up and share a lovely work rapport. Deepika continues to have a good relationship with the veteran actors as well.

Padmaavat, which released on January 25, is Deepika Padukone’s third collaboration with Ranveer Singh and Sanjay Leela Bhansali after Ram Leela and Bajirao Mastani.
