Parineeti Chopra is excited to celebrate Diwali with her husband Raghav Chadha and family, marking it as one of her favorite festivals.

Parineeti Chopra is brimming with excitement as she celebrates Diwali, one of her favorite festivals, with her husband Raghav Chadha and family. Her family travelled from Ambala to Delhi for the celebrations, making it easier for everyone to gather. “The cherry on the cake is that I get to see Raghav,” she added, mentioning how her busy schedule has kept her shuttling between London, Delhi, and Mumbai for work.

Amid her bustling Diwali preparations at home, Parineeti Chopra shared that her choice for the celebration was clear - either a solo Diwali in Mumbai or a family affair in Delhi. “It's the people who make it a festival, family does. That's what is prominent in Delhi people go to each other's houses. I am just coming from a pooja that happened at our home. It's wonderful to see how people decorate their houses,” she added.

This Diwali is especially bright for Chopra, thanks to the success of Chamkila, her latest film with Diljit Dosanjh, which garnered widespread praise. Laughing, she says, “I’m going to have a very Chamkila Diwali.”

For Parineeti Chopra, Diwali isn’t complete without hands-on decorating. She fondly recalls her childhood Diwalis when her mom would give her a carton of candles, her responsibility to set them around the house. “I remember as a child, I would get a carton of candles from mom. It was my responsibility to put them in the gardens, the terrace. I used to love that time alone with myself. Then my brothers Sahaj and Shivang, and I would fight about who will light the candles. Decor, even today, is something big for me. I make our rangoli, do the selections. The beauty of decorating your house's entrance, mandir lies in doing it yourself. I would do it even when I was alone in Mumbai. To do it with my family is something I cherish.”
