PHOTOS: Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma look ethereal at their Delhi reception

The power couple of Bollywood- Cricket, Anushka Sharma and Virat Kohli, got hitched secretly at a beautiful destination wedding in Italy. The couple got married on December 11 in the presence of their family and close friends. It was an intimate traditional affair with pre-wedding functions. The post-wedding function comprised of family get together with a DJ party where everyone had a gala time. Post their wedding, the newlyweds reportedly headed to Rome and Finland for their honeymoon.

Earlier this week, Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma returned to New Delhi at Virat's residence. They met Prime Minister Narendra Modi last night to invite him for their grand wedding reception which is taking place today.

The Indian Cricket Team Captain Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma made their first official public appearance since their marriage in Italy at the Taj Palace hotel for their wedding reception on Thursday. The newlyweds looked absolutely regal in their ethnic wear. Many big-wigs are expected to arrive at the wedding reception.

Virat looked dapper in a bandhgala sherwani with a printed shawl whereas Anushka wore a red Benarasi saree with heavy statement jewellery and sindoor. Both the traditional outfits have been designed by renowned fashion designer Sabyasachi Mukherjee who designed every wedding function outfit for the bride and the groom.

On the work front, Anushka Sharma will return to Mumbai in January 2018 to begin the next schedule of Aanand L Rai’s film with Shah Rukh Khan in Mumbai. She will also start prepping for Sui Dhaaga – Made in India as the shooting for the same starts in February 2018 with Varun Dhawan. Anushka will also be busy with the promotions of Pari which is releasing on February 9.
